I didn't realize until now that I forgot to upload this scratch-made Metroid sprite from 2011. The look is based graphics and art from the later Metroid games, but I tried to mimic that original Metroid sprite a bit.Metroid, Samus Aran, and all related things © Nintendo

I spent a lot of time on those details, so I'm glad that stuff shows up.
To tell the truth, I'd rather see WayForward make a 2-D Metroid game. That's what would make me happy. The old games still look good as they are IMO.

Wow, that's beautiful! The details and the colors are vibrant! I imagine a Metroid game with many frames of animation, so that the movements are fluid. It would be a fantastic experience!
