Description I'm trying to get a decent selection of [link] artwork together and give them my own 'Joesplosion' backgrounds. Quick Kick was drawn in 2003 but was good enough to revived for this project. I made some fixes on the linework, changed the angle of the kicking foot, recolored his skin and a few bits of his outfit then put the lighting on him. People seem to be digging it so I guess it was a good call.

I just randomly typed that out somewhere and it just stuck in my head. I've now seen it pop up outside the art threads I've posted them in on Joe Boards. I was just trying to skip a few keystrokes.

Good stuff! Quick Kick was one of the cooler later characters. I liked how he'd quote movies all the time.

That was one of the many things I like about him too.
"I'm the Barber of Seviiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiile!!!" still cracks me up.

Thanks, WolfGriffin. Reminding other fans of their favorite stuff or hipping other people to stuff they've missed is why I like to draw characters like QK.

If only I had the time to edit a Quick Kick sprite sheet so I could bring him into MUGEN or BoR.
