Gorgeous! And so detailed. I was wondering about the size of this tattoo since it seems to be quite small, but still retains much of it's detailing. I was looking for an artist who could do something like this. I was also curious about how well it is holding up. Other artists I talked to about a small detailed tattoo either told me it had to be bigger or advised against it due to stretching and blurring with age. Any advice/comments?

wow, this is really something - i love your choice of colour, insitead of going for teh usual red and orange, you went from something cooler, and a million miles more magical, which is appropriate seeing as the phoenix is a magical creature

Hello
I designed this phoenix, can you credit me on your image description please ? --> [link]
Ah, I have a question, was your client looked like ? Because she ordered me this tattoo for her weeding and it was supposed to be tattoed on her wrist.
By the way, you did a great job ! It wasn't easy, was it ?

Yess yess , so sorry , the customer brought me this phoenix picture , she wanted it tattooed so I did , it wasn't me who suggested me your picture. Though I think it is awesome.

Thank you very much !
It doesn't really matter to me if your client wasn't the person who ordered me the phoenix. I was just curious ^_^

You're quite welcome! It's a great piece.
I was actually considering getting a Phoenix on the back of my neck. I really like the style of this one, although I wouldn't get this exact tattoo on me... I like my tattoos original works, if I can.

Beautiful, it looks tiny but if I understood right it isn't. Great details and amazing colours!! I really gasped when I saw those colours - I have never seen any tattoos with such a intensive colour.
It's amazing and really gives me a feeling of freedom and that it can never be destroyed whatever is going to happen. A real piece of a soul.
It made my day

Thank you ! The colors are bright in reality as well, but I must say that I did a bit of color adjustment in photoshop , just a color balance , I didn't touch the tattoo itself. I just wanted to do the light adjustment , what a good photographer would probably be able to do wit his camera.

What size is the tattoo? It looks like it's tiny, but there's so much detail in it! What kind of machine(s) did you use to get such fine lines?
I love the shading in the tail feathers, there's so much depth in it which really makes the tattoo. Love those little loose feathers too, they look superb with the minimal lines!

Thank you for the comment. Actually the tattoo is of a medium size, so it is around 18 cm in length. It was quite tricky to give it that artistic freedom-look.. just not my style but I tried to do my best. The lines I did with the machine that I have constructed, here is the link to it [link] . I use that machine for lining in almost all of my tattoos. This tattoo took me about four and a half hours to finish..

i like the movement of this alot...the phoenix is overly dramatic like ive seen a zillion people do and the color really pops...just enough detail to be powerful...but not overbearing...great work

Thank you for taking time to analyze my work, though this is not my design, the client brought it with her, however I tried to give it an artistic and dramatic look which I believe the artist how created this design was striving for. Cheers!
