This is my poster illustration for the Bill and Ted Excellent Halloween Adventure show at Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando. My wife and I are big fans of the show and the overall event each year. This piece is for the 2016 show, which is the 25th Anniversary. I had meant to do posters for the '14 and '15 shows, but never got around to it. We were lucky enough to get to go to more nights and see last year's show more than any other year and I decided I wanted to show my appreciation to the cast and crew. At some point I decided to have a character to represent each actor in the show, including one for each of the four swing actors. I almost bit off more than I could chew. The biggest difficulty was that they don't allow photos or video recording at the show, so we had to make notes after shows and create our own reference. So a lot of the characters are in some weird limbo between the character they are parodying and what I remember of the person from the actual show.
