Description

Something that I decided to make as a bit of fun, as well as to practice my skill with XNAlara and a give bit more backstory for Kain.

Now, as you can probably already tell. I have the major Kingdom Hearts pairings in here. SoraXKairi, RoxasXNamine, and TerraXAqua. And I of course have, KainXPyra (My OC/crossover pairing). But, why is Xion leaning against Kain. A simple answer to a simple question. You see, before I planned to pair Kain with Pyra. I originally planned to pair him up with Xion. I tend to believe that it would have worked out, but considering the fact that Xion was believed to be gone for good, I decided to look somewhere else. So, I decided to look at Square Enix's original plan and look to Nintendo for an alternative. And, again, I fell in love with Pyra and I worked around with that. But, I did decide to include Kain and Xion's feelings for each other in my story.

In the beginning, when Kain and Xion were first brought into the Organization, they were outcast. They stayed away from the other members and just did their jobs. It was only when they were partnered up with Roxas, that they started to change. Soon, Kain, Xion, Roxas and Axel were a band of brothers... and sister. As Axel had returned from Castle Oblivion, he and Roxas returned to being a team of two, for a while. Which left Kain and Xion to work together for a good long while. Enough for them to experience a feeling that they had never felt before. Love. They began spending more and more time with eachother. Until, Kain became sick and tired of not knowing who he was. He then went to Xemnas himself and demanded to know everything. But, Xemnas refused to answer. Infuriated, Kain was on the verge of finding out the truth on his own, whether the Organization liked it or not. That was, until Saix gave Kain his new mission. Which was to explore and learn as much as he could of this new world that they discovered called, Alrest.

Kain did as they asked, even thought he hated it. This lead to him meeting Pyra and causing to become conflicted with his feelings for both Pyra and Xion. Up until, the point when Pyra was kidnapped by Malos and Jin. Kain went with Nia, Rex and the others to collect the transparent sword to help strengthen Pyra and Mythra. Once the sword was in his possession, Kain collapsed. Sensing that something was wrong with Xion. Explaining the situation to the others, they told Kain to go see what was happening, and to come help rescue Pyra once he was done. Kain quickly left to find Roxas and Xion fighting eachother. Kain tried to stop them, but he was too late. He watched as Xion faded away, and he grasped his head as he fought to keep the memories of the first person he loved. With the sense of loss weighing heavy on his heart, he returned to Alrest to fight Malos and Jin. His faced both of them head on, all on his own. With the rage in his heart, he fought with like he was mad man. However, the constant fighting, mixed with the pain in his heart and head, Kain was beginning to forget Xion even more. Up until, Malos stuck him down in front of Pyra. Kain got up after receiving a severe blow to the head. It was then, that Xion had been wiped from his mind and heart. Kain then remembered Pyra, and everything she had done for him. The hole in his heart was then filled with the feelings he had for Pyra. Thus, Kain and Pyra became more then partners. But, this feeling was short lived, as they went through the final fight with Malos, and just as Kain had lost Xion, he had lost Pyra as well.

Of course, Kain was eventually reunited with Pyra, but his memories of Xion would never be reconciled.

Anyway, that's why I put Xion together with Kain and Pyra in this image. I'm not sure if I'll do with Kain like I did with Orion, and pair him up with both Pyra and Xion, but it is in debate. Either way, Kain will still be paired up with Pyra, and Xion may be paired with someone else. Who knows. I'll let you guys tell me what you think.
