Is saw a picture, I saw the future, I saw a moment, I saw a possibilityThis is an design based on an photograph of the bottom of an hard-disk, I saw it and thought I could make an webdesign with it. The red and green light are some extra stuff because there abiously not on the bottom side of an hard-disk.
No, this was fun making, a few shapes, a couple of hunderd tries and a lot of bevels, done in photoshop. Just for fun.
Something not to forget to say is that in the concept, the concept is supposed to grow with the screen and text-size, in other words: If there's a long text, the concept or design will be long to.

I really like the hard-disk consept here.
The home page of this site could be a front view of the hard-disk and than it flips over to this view.
But that would be really tough to make with flash I think.

If you try to make it 3d and then work it out with an rotating animation wich you import into flash and it's possible I think..... though its tough to make the HD in a 3d model resembling to the picture above.

Thanx, for the metalpart, I just used certain simpel shapes and bevel, next to that I made some patterns of circels with down-inner-bevels for the repeating cirkel parts.
