I did this for a contest. Apparently, a lot of people out there were not pleased with the cover of Treasure Planet (I think they could've done worse, personally, but that's just me) so they wanted to see if the fans could do better.This is done in my own style, which really doesn't help the situation at all, unfortunately. And there's so much wrong with this picture... The only one I'm really happy with is Amelia (but she's just plain shibby in any way shape or form). Gah, I was rushed! ::cries on Silver's shoulder:: but... ::snif:: I tried.

i don't like the cover that disney chose. it's my favourite film though (check out my favourites and you'll see LOADS of tp stuff)

I've been perusing yer gallery, (I first came across ye on FF.net, with yer abso-flipping-lutely adorable Jumba/Pleakly stories! I read 'Debt to Society' a long while ago, and read the others later, but never QUITE made the connection until tonight that OMG IT'S THE SAME AUTHOR! A slow Sylver am I.) and loving every picture - the only reason I haven't faved any until right now is that I'd have to fave them ALL then because I wouldn't be able to pick. x3
But anyway, you did a Treasure Planet fanart. You did it WELL - I disagree with yer desc, I think they all look great, although yes, Amelia is DECIDELY shibby in any context. But this pic just put ye WAY over the top, as Treasure Planet is my favorite movie, period, animation or non, from any era. Thus I heart yer art even more and press the little button with the star and plus sign up there and stalk - excuse me, WATCH you.

My god, your Doppler looks awsome, I don't even like him but your version looks fucking awsome! The only thing I can say that could possibly be wrong with it is that Amelias gun looks to futraistic. (Although she her self looks awsome)

WOOOOW!!! Colouring pencils? You achieved a great saturation, I wouldn't be surprised if you have a lot of experience with them.
You managed to pull if off perfectly with your own style. Shows you're in control of your art. It's better than recopying, in my opinion. It's a perfect group pic but IMO, the compo's not strong enough to be a cover.

Wow!! It's really amazing piece of art!!! God, it's perfect! I adore your artistic talent. And I personally prefer to see fanarts that are done in the artists' own styles, rather than Disney-like all the way (I don't mind it, however). All the characters are depicted amazingly, especially Captain Amelia. I love how she looks in this picture. Truly Awesome!! Keep it up

Awesome! You did a beautiful job, and it doesn't look bad at all! Its nice to see the characters drawn in someone's own style! Beautiful colors! His name escapes me.. (I haven't seen the movie in so long! ~begs forgiveness~) The guy with the book? I really love how you drew him! But Jim is my favorite still! (that is his name, right?) I feel bad for forgetting the names, but it was a great movie!

I like the coloring on tis. Very lovely. n_n I like your take on Jim..he doesn't have..ah...a sloping forehead. Thank you~ ;-; hehehe.. The only thing that sort of bugs me I guess would be that Silver's cyborg arm is a little smaller, but it's not much. Keep it up nn
