I haven't drawn Jason in a whiiiile.

My prince turned merman. I small story included in my main story, a bit of folklore on Delos. It's basically the same elements as beauty and the beast and the little mermaid.

Prince pisses sorceress in disguise off, prince is turned into a fish man, leaving him only with an enchanted shell. Fish man is lonely and finds comfort in collecting shells that he stores on a secluded area on a small, hidden beach. He notices his shells are slowly going missing and stakes out to see what's happening to them. A fisherman's daughter found his little nook and took to his collection, taking a few of his prettier shells, and his special shell.

Out of sheer anger he surfaces up on the beach as far as he can and begins to scold the girl, but to no avail as she's simply fascinated with his appearance. She apologizes and the next day returns all of his shells. He returns day after day to add on to his collection, and she returns as well.

They slowly befriend each other, and the prince becomes less arrogant and more kind and giving. Eventually they become infatuated with each other, but they can't do much about it.

With great sadness, he insists that she find happiness with someone else who can be there for her, but she refuses and wants to stay with only him. He's moved and gifts her his prized possession, the magic shell that stuck with him since his transformation.

Upon the presentation, she kisses him, and he is immediately transformed back. The shell is left on the beach, as the two run off to his kingdom, and it's said whoever seeks out the shell will be granted a life of happiness to whoever they share it with.
