Besides my Pokémon x Paper Mario mash up for class, I chose to do Kid Icarus x Fire Emblem (Awakening).
I redesigned Pit and attempted to replicate the style used for the character art of Fire Emblem: Awakening.

I'm actually planning out a major storyline featuring Pit in my fanfic narrative, particularly the version featured in Super Smash Bros. Crossover, known as the Crossroads of Destiny Arc. It's ultimately a tragic storyline, as it is the culmination of a plot thread I began in the War of the Realms. Basically, Pit learned from Sasuke Uchiha (who found himself in Paradise after the events of the Universal Destruction Arc left him hovering between life and death and was told of things to come in the future) that he was going to die in the future, but not when he'd die and who would kill him since Sasuke didn't get that information until he used a Cosmic Cube shard and learned that Pit would die in six months (in-universe) at the hands of Kaguya Otsutsuki after sliding back into villainy. Sasuke never told Pit this crucial information because he was preoccupied trying to prepare for the coming storm, the one time Sasuke directly interacted with Pit after gaining this knowledge was when he informed Pit that Palutena (who Pit's relationship with became strained due to her actions under the control of Master Core and what she did with the Heroes of Darkness) was in a coma after being struck with a concentrated bolt of lightning by an evil version of Thor Odinson.
It has been six months since the War of the Realms Arc when the Crossroads of Destiny Arc begins, and Pit (who had regained the hope he lost during the Avengers Legacy Arc) decides to do what Yamcha's previous incarnation asked Sasuke to tell him to do, which is to live the rest of his life to the fullest. However, before Pit can do that, he wants to find out exactly who will kill him/when it will happen, and then determine once and for all if Captain America is a HYDRA agent (Steve Rogers was outted as HYDRA in a public broadcast by Shuma-Gorath in the Sins Past Arc, but Pit refuses to believe it unless he hears it from Steve Rogers himself or Captain Universe (Tamara Devoux), an Avenger from the far future, because he suspects the footage was edited by Shuma-Gorath) and if Thor Odinson is alive (the last time Pit saw Thor was when he, as a prisoner of the X-Men, was injured by a XANAfied Captain Universe). In his search for the answers he seeks from Sasuke Uchiha and Captain Universe (Tamara Devoux), Pit ends up fighting all of his allies that have continued to play a role in the story of Super Smash Bros. Crossover since the Universal Destruction Arc.
In order, Pit fights his fellow Avengers (the Sentry, Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan), Sunspot, Cannonball, and the Falcon), the Squadron Supreme (Loki Laufeyson, Sabretooth, Carnage, Hobgoblin, the Enchantress, Hyperion (Marcus Milton), Nighthawk, Thundra, and Dr. Spectrum [of the Great Society]), the trio of Black Widow, Daredevil, and the Punisher before learning from Sasuke that he's going to die today (in-universe) at the hands of Kaguya, after which he fights Sasuke's Avengers (Sasuke Uchiha, Kakashi Hatake, Piccolo, Tien Shinhan, Yamcha, Krillin, Future Trunks, and Chiaotzu), Asgard's Warriors (All-Father Odin, Valkyrie, Lady Sif, Fandral, Hogun, Volstagg, Heimdall, Balder, Loki and the Enchantress (again), Angela, Queen Frigga, and Beta Ray Bill), and the Forces of Nature (specifically Viridi, Phosphora, Arlon, and Cragalanche) with Dark Pit being his constant companion and partner in these battles. After that, Pit fights Loki a third and final time by himself before Tamara confirms that Steve is HYDRA and Thor is his prisoner, with Pit ultimately accepting his coming death as inevitable and deciding to head to Latveria to save Thor, Palutena, and the X-Men (including Captain America, who Pit rightly determines has been brainwashed) in the time he has left, but ends up having to fight Dark Pit at the Valley of the End before he can go to Latveria. The story ultimately culminates with Pit's final battle against the X-Men in Latveria (a battle both sides know Pit won't survive), where he fights the X-Men with everything he's got and even lifting both the original Mjolnir and the Cancerverse Mjolnir (which Thor dropped when he was defeated and imprisoned), having proven himself worthy with how far he was willing to go to make things right. Unfortunately, the battle inevitably ends with Pit being impaled by two of Kaguya's bone daggers (just being hit by one is an instant kill) and, after asking Naruto Uzumaki to tell Palutena that he's forgiven her while revealing that he never stopped trusting him despite everything that's happened, returns to where he left Dark Pit, Loki, and Tamara (with Thor escaping the X-Men's captivity during their fight with Pit and following his dying friend), where Pit finally dies in Dark Pit's arms with a peaceful smile on his face, having died without any regrets.
