One that I've been on for quite some time. I didn't bother posing the tentacles on the margwa's backs because for each tentacle there were about 7 bones, and there were A LOT on the back. And may I mind you that I have to get them posed in a single day for me to make it. Because for some reason you cannot save Dynamic props in Gmod yet along with your saved session. It will automatically remove them upon loading. So posing sfm creatures would have to be a single day of work. (Save them for last in posing)
Besides that I kinda like the margwas with the spiky look, makes them look more menacing.
Drawing wasn't too much of an issue, had to focus on a lot of the rain and bringing out the detail. The hair color was pretty new to work with, and I worked on the eyes making them more soft and natural.
This overall was a fun picture to make, and I will make more artwork with Apothicon creatures soon. (This shit takes me some time to make)
Let me know what you thing in the comments below, Enjoy.

Definitely 20% cooler! I like the intense, sharp look in the eyes. The wet mane and tail ads a nice layer of beauty on top cooler aspects. Also the pistol is nicely done with smoke, magic holding it and rain hitting it

I will always like anything glim glam. You just made my day
Also question for real: How do you do your lighting in gmod? How do you get them to look soft and evenly distributed? I can't for the life of me figure out how to create even lighting. In my works it always end up looking 'obviously' like studio lighting or 'fake' lighting.
I've been trying to emulate the ambient lighting without success.

Ahh, yes. With lighting I use mostly 2 point or 3 point lighting using the Advanced light source entities. But after posing with the light I use Lightroom for precise lighting and color edits. Lightroom is my main thing to go to because you can edit the highlights, shadows, whites and blacks all seperate. In photoshop cs6 I only edit it to an extent, because it's not really all that advanced as Lightroom. So the way I edit lighting in order:
Gmod (2-3 point setup)
Photoshop cs6: Slight adjustments, make everything pop out more
Lightroom 5: Really finish up the picture with light and color adjustments.
Also, never use the maps lighting for your props. Always use seperate light sources and darken your props using the setname commands for smooth, even lighting.

One of my good friends exported them for me in exchange for something. They are not a public release.
