They would get along well. Belle would see how nice Quasimodo is fairly quick.

This gives me an idea of a sad yet touching rancid with these 2...I'm thinking of a "what if" universe where both their significant others, Adam and Madeline were killed and belle mourns for her love in the sanctuary only to meet quasi and they become friends and etc. Later. Just a thought...

It's really hard to see and only lasts a couple seconds at the edge of the screen, but they slipped in Belle in the middle of Quasimodo's song "Out There" when he sings about "Out there among the millers and the weavers and their wives, through the roofs and gables I can see them." Beauty and the Beast=1991. Hunchback of Notre Dame=1996.
