ROY!! You...you evil...jealousy-booster, with your...your metal shadowy-shiny shadings!!! >__<;;; Dammit, that's AWESOME!!! 
Only thing I see a bit different are the hands. They looked kinda small, but for the reason of fitting to hold the hilt of the almighty-shading-tastic sword, I didn't even realize the hands until Hiei pointed it out.

Yeah the hands are small... but I ignored it 
The symbols are referring to the bird-like sign from Zelda you can see in the Tympanum picture. So not all thought up by me ^^

Ahh, so the designed is based on them. ^^ But you did a good job on fitting it to the armor, though.
