This is my contest entry for fedorasonar's Contest where we had to draw our own OC with his. I spent a lot of time on this and I'm very happy with the results!!! No bases or renders were used for this, I drew everything myself, so please ask permission before use, thank you!

-About the Theme-
Alright so, I spent a lot of time thinking about the message this drawing would be conveying, and I finally come up with this idea that was based off meeting new people and making new friends. I feel that when we meet a new friend we get the chance to learn about them, and hear about experiences they have had, we also get to share our own stories with them. Its always a wonderful feeling to get to take a step into someones' world and see that we have many things in common, even if it may not seem like it at first. I tried to show that feeling in this piece. ^^

The background is suppose to be two separate areas, the left being a pier and the right being a meadow, they flow into each other which is meant to represent how even though we may come from different places and have experienced different things in our lives, we are more alike then we realize.
