243win-- 95gr bullet

Now that is some caliber I don't recognize. What's it used for? Hunting or military?

right now i just use it to punch holes in paper. it is used a lot in hunting small game and deer. it is a .308 necked down to accept the smaller .243 bullet.

Wowzies, must be a really fast and accurate bullet. Thanks for the basic info, when I have time I'll do some research on my own

np, yea it is fast. it is also a barrel burner. over all it is a nice round, it has a nice selection of bullets to pick from, depending on the twist rate of the barrel, they have 100+gr bullets.

I really like .243, working on a 65gr bullet load now that I hope to use on coyotes. Very versatile cartridge.

Cool comparison
