I'm sure if they were rendered in a more realistic fashion they would look more threatening. Or maybe not. Putting such cute wagging tails on their soldiers might have been an oversight...

I could imagine the corporation fabricating footage and "evidence" of them on the front lines to give them a fearsome reputation. Meanwhile they are only used as guards and for intimidation purposes where they are mostly safe from danger and "unmasking".

Basically, what if they decide to create some more realistic 'bio suits' to make the illusion more believable... and the suits subtly stop being suits?

If you mean TFing into actual mutants, I'm not really into that sort of thing. I like it when suits are just... suits. So I could speculate, but...

I know, I'm saying what happens when some soft edge science fiction where the suit's self repair function goes into overdrive and transforms them into the real deal.
