He reminds my of the colony living in the city of Olney, Illinois. In fact, the city advertises itself as "the home of the white squirrels". It's good to know there are others elsewhere. They really are amazing-looking, beautiful creatures. He's in my Animal Favorites now!

I've always wished I could drive down to Olney to see if I could take pictures of any of the little critters. Signs with white squirrels are frequent; they're very proud of their colony.
You're welcome!

It's probably not more than an hour or so away, but I haven't been up to an out-of-town drive for a number of years. Also, I have a very old car, which makes me cautious because, if I had trouble on the road, I'd be helpless. I have all of these "someday" dreams that aren't likely to come true. *sigh*

Lack of money always will stand in the way, but health problems also persist. I've made a bit of headway with homeopathics/natural supplements; I guess I just need to be patient.

The ultimate grey, Michael! Good capture. Never seen an albino squirrel before. Looks like the iris of the eye is pale blue or maybe that is my colour vision.

Thanks David. The eye colour tends to differ depending on the angle the shot is taken at. Keep a look out for the next one I upload which will show an all pink (to my eye!) eye, if you follow me? aye!! Β Β

This is very odd to see one of these. We have many and in the area have black squirrels but this ine is so cool! Thanks for sharing and good luck getting more shots of him.

We have watched him from a distance in trees behind the house since we moved in about 6 months ago Sandy. Whilst we have had daily visits from greys (several at a time), he never showed. Last saturday gone he appeared from nowhere and has been back at least twice that we know of.Β
I'm hoping to get some better shots/video of him in time. Thanks for commenting
