I'm finally finished with this piece. D8< Started on it loooong ago (a few months?), and never got into it enough to finish it. And tonight I finally did. Got the idea while I was re-watching a few episodes of Naruto, during the Sasuke Retrieval Arc. They made up such a dream team. xDThe colors look really blue on my new laptop, but they look warm and good on my old one... Can't tell which one's off. I hope it's just my new laptop being too bright or something. Bleh, backgrounds.

Watch it again, if you can. The story has some depth to it, the AU circumstances provoke some thought, and the direction is much better than the usual 80-minute "I can haz odama rasengan" quickie.

And you're right, Kishi is a harsh right. 614 made me cry, 615 made me squeal happily for days (Canon NaruHina, much?) and then 616 comes out and I'm crying again, for entirely different reasons.

Naruto is a fine example of why us males get such a bad rap when it comes to the whole 'romance' thing.
I mean, really, she /literally/ confessed to him in the most epic, romantic, badass way possible, by putting her life on the line in a battle she couldn't possibly win just to save him, and he /still/ doesn't get it!
So frustrating it makes me wanna cry ;^;
Doesn't Kishi know they're meant to be together?
And the 615 NaruHina moments....I'll feel so ripped off if they don't end up together after that.

This is awesome with everyone hanging out. Naruto being his loud self looking like he either got nej or neji used his technique to peak. Then there's shikamaru just chillin looking over at naruto and neji perhaps disturbed by the sudden activity. Chouji's all peaceful and patient while kiba looks miffed. Looks cozy and game night like.
