The original Wing Gundam will always be my preferred version. The Katoki version just looks like Zero custom with different wings and colours.

Not just looks like, pretty much is... The new bird mode is kinda neat, but I do think the redesign was kind of silly, especially since it is so similar to Zero custom. The only thing I liked was the idea of extra ammo for the buster rifle.

Yeah, sorta. It's more obvious in real life. Plus, the Katoki version has waaaaay more in common with Wing Zero (Custom) than the original Wing gundam to the original Wing Zero.
