- Although Nil was always naturally clever, it was Miss Melia's teaching that brought Nil from his shell. The boy knows to hold his tongue, even if there are plenty of colorful things he'd love to say.

Prayed inwardly to Alya, asking her to protect the souls lost at the claws and teeth of Sola, King Isador's wyvern, while outwardly praying to Ignacio, pretending to show reverence towards the God of Fire.

Chapter VIAodh 607: Cover of Darkness
Awakened shortly after lights out, a few Aodhian Smugglers and Vagabond Vindicators had come to set them all free. Torn between his defensiveness for Isolt and the idea of tasting freedom after all these years. Took a young, injured foal into his care, which was basically him chasing after Isolt with the lad on his back. In the end, had to abandon Isolt when she tried to betray the entire labor force by running for help which could have gotten them all killed. While many felt horrible about the explosions that rocked the labor compounds, Nil feels Aodh deserves it, while also understanding the Smugglers anger towards the action. Now free, he willingly joined the Vindicators...for now.
