As I mentioned in my journal, I'm starting a new project that I'll be working on for really however long it takes to get it done in between other things, haha. It involves drawing one chracter each for people that I know in some amount (whether they be friends or just artists I watch or something in between).
I couldn't think of a better way to start this off then of a picture of my dear best friend =Candy2021 's lovely character Ripper! I've never drawn her before surprisingly and she was a lot of fun to draw! She's such a lovely character.

wow...looking back at this after seeing how far you've come in doing your 30 something one is mind blowing. she still looks amazing to me but I can tell you've grown so much in this project and I am so happy with your progress!~ Ripper looks beautiful!
I'm glad you choose to draw Ripper! she seems to be stuck in this fan art limbo of "well everyone else is drawing her- so I'm not gonna" thus resulting in no one drawing her.
But she looks really great by you! her colors are so bold X3 and you could not have chosen a better chracter to start off such a fantastic project IF I DO SAY SO MYSELF!...but I may be a tiny bit biased.
you got every little detail spot on! her birth mark, her earrings even her scythe! I can't thank you enough for including her! this is fantastic I love it!

yeah, I've definitely come quite a ways since I first started this project, which I'm sure in some way is a testament to how good an idea it was. At least in my opinion.
I've always loved Ripper's color scheme, having always been a fan of bright colors against darker ones, so how could I resist finally drawing her. I'm surprised I hadn't' drawn her before then! x3

I'm so excited for this project! I hope you make it to the full 100 or at least go far with it. It sounds like a fun idea and I may have to steal it from you in the distant distant future.
Yay, Ripper! She turned out so cute in your style! I love how her facial features translated and that you even bothered to pay attention to her facial features in the first place. You even got her boxy chin! I'm always seeing others leave it out. Her scythe turned out great too.

I'm hoping to get all the way through 100 as well! I already got a good head start on those sketches I got like 38 of them done while I was on vacation? So I guess we'll see in the long run! xD
and thank you <3 I'm really trying with this project to pick up on any distinct features the artists draw their chars having and translate it into my style. And just work on differing body and face shapes in general since it's always good to diversify your art!

I love how you did the curvature of the checkered pattern on her dress, the scythe looks fab, and I love how you drew her cute little toes <3 She looks great, you have a lot of work ahead of you, but seeing the sketches, you are on your way!
