My personal headcanon is that when it comes to Phineas and dating him, Ferb is a giant nervous dork. I mean, he's a suave British hunk with a razor sharp wit, but romance isn't something he's SUPER smooth with. Especially when it's with his brother.Phineas, on the other hand, is pretty chill with it and doesn't act very different at all.

I love how the fandom tends to portray him but I like to switch things up. Having Ferb be all nervous and dumb when his brother starts getting romantic with him is precious and a nice change of pace.

I'm a massive stickler for keeping characters IC so I do my best to make it work with what we know of Ferb. I actually wrote a fic about him and Phineas being together at nine, using that headcanon, and I personally think it's precious (though it's gotten a few "ew gross" reviews).
