*****Version 1.9 is out!******IMPORTANT NOTE FOR 1.7 USERS: Due to the magnitude of the code changes, you should restart adium, toggle between adiumychat and any other messagestyle and then toggle between the variants in adiumychat to clear any cache adium might have kept
And here it is, FINALLY!
The companion to the much hyped iDium Message Window mod.
I present to you, the AdiumyChat message style!

well, it won't really look good if i allow custom incoming colours now would it? however, it doest support basic formatting (bold, italics, underline, double spacing etc) just like all other message styles :/

The window mod is separate, it's still in closed beta and will come out when its ready

There is a bug in your theme where the first time you type in the char box and send everything will be flushed up and the scrollbar disappear. But on the second try, it will become normal again. Turning off chat log does not affect the outcome.

you *are* on osx aren't you? its supposed to download as a .zip file, and once you unzip it, it'll be a .AdiumMessageStyle file

yes im on osx.. and i dont get that file i get a zip file and then it opens a folder named AdiumyChat.AdiumMessageStyle.. with all the stuff in it

The quality of this theme (fade-ins, smoothness, etc.) is outstanding. It's raised the bar on the usual Adium xtras. If you haven't yet, post this on their website. Maybe it'll push the other developers to work harder.
The only update I see worth trying out for future releases: Custom background. Add that, and it'll surely rival iChat in appearance.
