It's time to show off adopts I got again and I'll start with one I got from nimuedraws. I was going to have Kema originally be an Apophis from MGE based on her looks, but I have decided against that and having her be a resident of Theodora's world.

Kema herself is from a rare breed of lamia in her world called the Neilous Viper, hailing from its Egypt like region, and being an ancient example of it being flung out of time to her world's modern era. She was the daughter of a nobleman who lucked into marrying such a rare type of lamia, and was given up around puberty to become a handmaiden of the pharaoh's queen. She was given a quality education and was highly valued as her breed of lamia can produce a potent venom which can be used as an equally potent aphrodisiac among other things. All in all Kema had a great life. But a few days after turning 23 she found herself being sealed away inside a precious jewel necklace due to her massive tail and the court sorcerer's apprentice not cleaning the room. So for several, six in fact, thousand years she was trapped in a fine piece of jewelry until one day a group of explorers found the queen's tomb, and one of them exposed the jewel to sunlight at the exactly right angle freed her from the prison. She took to learning that the world she once knew no longer exists better than most people would imagine. The real hard part was trying to overcome the language barrier. While Kema finds being regarded as a living relic to be annoying she has provided plenty of missing holes in the knowledge of the ancient world to modern archaeologists.

Kema mostly has adapted to modern life and enjoys filling in the gaps of history since her accidental imprisonment, and tries to find the time to meet up with other Neilos Viper lamias. Which has produced mild results.

Personality: While she has a kind heart she does lack the tolerance more modern people have. Kema also views her type of lamia to be superior to most other types, an attitude she held since her own time. In her eyes why shouldn't she see it that way given that her kind were on top of the lamia totem pole in the ancient world. Being one hatched into the upper sphere of society of her time Kema prefers the high class treatment and loves being pampered. She is also more bold than say Theodora, but has a better control of her own lasciviousness than the nun. To say she is shy about showing affection to a lover would be far from the truth, she would practically wash any man she desires in it. On that topic she is far more picky than the nun when it comes to men.

Other tidbits: The same rules I run for demi-human genes for this world and Third Time apply to Kema too, however in her case as a Neilos Viper lamia there are a few differences. First should any daughter of her's be born as a human there is not a chance but inevitability of her becoming a lamia when she hits puberty. All female Neilos Vipers have purple skin like Kema's, but the rare men have normal skin tones. Kema's potential male children have a 95% of being born as a human, it is again very rare for her kind to lay eggs containing sons. For the gene to pass down and to affect any descendants down the timeline Kema's children would have to get with lovers with high quality bloodlines. Lamias and nagas from her kind are bigger than average lamias are in addition to having stronger hypnotic gazes and resistance to poisons and toxins.
