Whats the difference between sketch and lineart?

the sketch is a sketch, shading's sketched out and it's much rougher, and the lineart is a clean lineart

Hi, I'm looking for an illustrator for my book, which has about 20 character individual pictures and the cover. But I've always had my heart set on using something like the harlequin manga styles. Have you got any experience with that?

Hello! I'm not sure which styles you're speaking of, but what's available is what you see on my sheet. Additionally, I don't have the time for a large project like that at the moment.

The style is not unlike what you have for your sketch on the sheet, just a bit more detailed (someone told me it was an 80's style *shrugs, it's a bit hard translating specifics when you live in Asia and are not fluent in the language people are explaining things to you*) And I don't need it within the next few month, but I do hope to have them by the end of the year. Will you have time by then?

I'm really sorry to disappoint, but I simply don't have the time to work on a project like that even with a long deadline. The commissions I accept are very limited since I'm always swamped for work and already involved in several projects. But I really appreciate you looking me up and expressing your interest.

I wanna double check something, a friend from the tales rp community sent me this way xD
First are you okay with drawing and oc with a tales character,
And second I feel kinda dumb asking this but, to figure out how much the total is, for example if I wanted a couple picture in the tales of style with no bg would the total be 45? Adding Lineart, tales of style and no bg together that's what I was guessing ;_;

the lineart example is for lineart only. the examples you see have the stated cost and aren't supposed to be added together, they're all separate.
the tales of style is 10 USD and an additional character is 5 USD, so that's 15! and yes, i accept ocs and fan art.

(Sure I know not everyone has money to pay so it's probably wiser to make stuff cheaper, but I just wanted to let you know, I hope that's okay. OTL )

Yeah I know what you mean. So far I've been comfortable with these prices though. But I guess they ended up there because I'm so used to never getting commissioned, too. This is definitely the lowest I'll go, but I might raise the full ones cause they take a shhitload of time. Ahhh thanks for telling me, I appreciate the concern!

And man I can fully understand how you feel. I've never tried comissions before but just because I feel way to bad to do them and probably won't get comissioned anyways. But if you ever need a helping hand I can spread the word about your comissions!

i'd probably commission you though! i love art from friends a whole lot more than others'. but i do know that feeling, it usually doesn't matter how good you are since people mostly commission you if you're popular. it's a bit dumb but i suppose it makes sense to get more if more people know of you.
