Do you open commissions again or is it just the old page that is updating?

Hey~
I just have a couple questions. ^^ I know this isn't something you tend to offer as a commission, but a friend and I really love your style and we were just curious.
Would you be willing to do a dakimakura commission? I was hesitant to ask since I know the dimensions would have to be really big, and I don't know what dimensions you're comfortable working with.
If it is possible, I'd like to know how much it would be so my friend and I could split the cost. If not, that's okay too.
Best of luck with your commissions! <3

I might be willing! I've made covers for fun before so I don't doubt I'll be able to draw it. For an example (NSFW so beware), you can go here !
I'm comfortable working on a big canvas but I'll have to know the dimensions and what the commission request entails before I can really set an estimate. For example, will this be a two-sided daki like they tend to be, and in that case how much different should they look from each other? As you can see in my example, the pose is the exact same only mirrored and with other details added, so something like that wouldn't kick up the price much at all. Another thing to note in that example is that the style I used is the Coloured Sketch one you can see specified in my sheet, which is cheaper but might not look as good in bigger dimensions!
So a lot of it boils down to your choosing, and whatever info you might have for me!

In order for the daki to be printable, I believe the dimensions would have to be 160 (or 150) cm x 50 cm (300 dpi)? This is a really, really big canvas, so I'd completely understand if you declined or priced it much higher.
A two-sided daki sounds lovely. We'd like for the character on the daki to be Nagito Komaeda from Danganronpa 2. Maybe one side could be normal, and the other side could have splatters of Danganronpa's pink blood + a different expression?
How much would it be for one that's lined and colored? It may take us a couple days to get the money depending on how much it is. Once we have the money, I can go into more detail about what we'd like.

Do you know of the dimensions you'll need in pixels for me to compare? I'm asking because creating a canvas beyond 80x40 cm in my program exceeds the canvas limit, however I'm still able to open a 160x50 cm file created elsewhere just fine. ThisΒ test canvas is 4536x1418 pixels which is a comfortable size for me, but I wouldn't know if it's big enough. My drawing app might just be bad at calculating when it creates a canvas.
As for the req itself, a lined and coloured drawing is 60 USD. I'd add an extra 10 for the additional expression and splatters, and if you'd like folds beneath him that's another 5!

With 300 dpi, 160 cm x 50 cm translates toΒ 18,898 pixels xΒ 5,906 pixels. 150 cm x 50 cm would be 17,717 pixels x 5,906 pixels.
Sounds perfect!

Alright, I've done some testing with Sai and I don't have a powerful enough computer for anything of that size. In Photoshop it's no big deal, but I don't use PS to draw and I wouldn't charge anyone while using an app I'm not familiar or comfortable working with. For anything decent the highest Sai will handle is 10,000x3126 pixels.

Ah, that's a shame. Well, good luck with commissions! Unfortunately I'm not looking for a regular painting right now, but perhaps I'll return in the future if my budget allows it-- your art is really, really nice.

I have two questions,
Would it be ok to reserve a spot? And if so for how long?
And second, thereβs no price difference between for example a bust and a full body right? Itβs just complexity and background?
π: 0 β©: 1
PRllNCE In reply to Quadpen [2017-12-02 03:31:48 +0000 UTC]
you may reserve a spot, but if it's for a longer time i want an estimate on when you'll be able to get back to me.
there is a price difference if you look at the additional costs section, a bust takes off 10 USD from your purchase.

Hi!! Would a detailed background still be 20 dollars? Or would that be more?

I can't really say without knowing what the background is, but generally it's 20!
