The library is loosely based on a historic home in Hinsdale, IL called the Hinckley House. At the time I started this project I had seen only one aspect view of the house. Further research lead to a site called hinsdalearchitecture.org www.hinsdalearchitecture.org/a… and these documents in the Library of Congress www.loc.gov/pictures/item/il09…

Lot Size: 35 x 30
Cost: 47,000

Top floor has garden reading room and media areas with computers.
Main Floor has a children's room, cafe, & main reading room. The porch has chessboards along with outdoor seating.
One rest room per floor.

At a later date, I think might redo the interior as a house and put a porch on the second floor.

I discovered that the file has a small issue, one of the chairs at the chess table on the back porch is out of whack, so it needs to be moved slightly.
