Description
Medusa scuttled back, clutching his head as his eyes darted about. Dark green ichor dripped from the wound in his head, blurring his vision. He panted and was now finally laying still. Nautilus towered above him, his eyes flickering an electric blue. Pinprick pupils trembled in fury, staring down at the cowering figure.

"Y-You won't!" Medusa spat out. His face, despite his terror, contorted into a wicked grin. For a moment, Nautilus stopped. His shoulders were squared and tense, his eyes flickering still. However, a moment of hesitation came over him, his pupils steadying to stare at Medusa. Medusa cackled. "You won't, I know you won't! A-And you wanna know why?" Medusa's grin stretched further as he bordered on mania. Nautilus simply cocked his head, brow furrowed. "It's because of Aura!" At the mention of her name, Nautilus tensed. He bore his teeth and a low growl rumbled from his chest. He stomped towards Medusa, but Medusa only laughed harder. "You know she'd be disappointed in you, acting so...s-so monsterous! You don't have the gall to kill me!" Medusa shrieked. He laughed harder as Nautilus stormed over to him.

Medusa really had no idea when to shut up.
