Description
Myriel and Grimshaw were left alone on the planet after their humiliating defeat against Miss Fortune. Grimshaw never truly recovered from the serious brain injury which Miss Fortune dealt to him and suffers from chronic insomnia and seizures. Despite Myriel's determination to get back into the tournament, opportunity after opportunity continously slipped by her to escape, leaving her and grimshaw alone when the tournament winner was declared and everyone abandoned it. At points of near death, Myriel slowly began to lose her mind and her memories of the past soon washed away in the dusty storms that pounded the landscape. Her personality never changed, however and her love and care for Grimshaw grew into a deep bond between girl and dragon.Scavenging the desolate landscapes Myriel and Grimshaw sustained themselves on the meat of the dead and abandoned wrecks that dotted the landscape. Although they lost everything on that fateful day, the two of them pressed on to survive. Together they grew stronger. Together they survived the sunblasted land and made it their home, always looking to the star in hopes of one day, someone will come for them.

So this is the aftermath of what happened to Myriel and Grimshaw after their defeat in . Abandoned on Curmudgeon with no way out... At least there are lots of sandworms to eat.

While this would be an interesting scenario, I still hope to see those two on the XSSS in some rounds.

That... is a good question actually. In my mind Myriel and Grimshaw survived from scavanging wrecks and sandworm meat, so it's not impossible. Though if I remember correctly, most of the contestants brought their opponents onto the XSSS
I do too. Actually, Shadow apparently has more planned for them in the future so who knows? But for the time being, if nobody ends up using them in their cannon plots this will become their new cannon. At least until they get rescued.

That's right. Most contestants are indeed on the XSSS by now.
I'd love to wire up a short story around them and my OC who was left as well but I decided for Iggy to find a way to board the XSSS.
Also, there can be several canon plots, I guess. If that's what you want to do with them - go for it! I like the idea
OCTs are fun in that way. You always have at least two possible outcomes. I think that's what makes them so interesting.

Making a comic of the aftermath isn't a bad idea. I just don't have the time thus far XD
