My cousin and I stopped in at her parents' house to pet the dogs.Mona is a giant baby and feels the need to be sitting on me constantly when I visit haha I love her

I see the confusion. Burmese IS the python, as in "from Burma". The dog is a "Bernese Mountain dog" as in "Of Bern, Switzerland"... his (her?) mountains are the alps. Definitely a huge difference but sound similar so people just revert to the one they've heard of.
