Description My lowpoly Ferrari F355 in three color variations. This render is straight from Vray, with the f355 logo added at the top just because it looks cool.

Each Ferrari is 4998 tri's, giving the scene a total of 14994 polygons, excluding the Vray plane. Each car uses two textures; a 512x512 for the body and a 1024x1024 for every other detail. Of course there are some reflection, opacity and refraction maps involved too.

This was made for the Lowpoly contest on SMcars.net.

BTW, this is my first deviation in a year or so, with my newly learned 3D skills

that work is wonderful, cars are really hard to do in 3ds max, and for low poly work, its just beautiful... also why do you use Vray, and what 3d program is your preferred working tool?

Vray because it's just a great renderengine; fats and easy to get good results quick, yet I still need years to learn how to use it to the fullest. Also I use Max 9, started with it, and don't want to leave it because of Vray.

Very nice mesh and great texture!! That texture alone makes the model look so much more detailed, congrats on your newly learned 3d skills, it's looking great!
