Kanda Yuu ~ my favorite character from D.Gray-manI took a picture of my sketchbook with my digital camera, which resulted in an uneven light source so I just went with it.
I admit, I did go a little crazy playing with levels in photoshop - so its hard to see the paper, but I liked the dramatic lighting and colors that popped up as a result.

i really really like this! the colors are really cool and i like the 'uneven' light and brightness. the line of his back is flawless-it really defines the whole piece. fabulous work!

I've tried taking pics of my work with a digital but I can never get it to not look like a snapshot haha. Tutorial???

I'm not great w/ using cameras, but I think one tip is not to hold the camera too close to the picture. The closer you are, the more the camera will warp the picture (bubble effect)
