"No... i mean... why did they leave the reloading mechanisms! It's like they wish us to destroy and dismantle this golem so that we can have sweet, sweet magical crossbows with and unending supply of bolts!"
"Oh... i can answer that. It's to make people think that they have to restrain the golem so that they can dismantle the bows while it's still... "alive"... as to not lose the magic. And since restraining a golem is much more difficult than outright killing it, then a lot more people die trying to get the... "sweet loot"... as i think you just put it."
