Jokes on you, I shall believe that this Cyber Dark Lord has a secret castle filled with puppies and kittens that he ritually visits to just sit around and be swarmed by them to deal with his crippling depression because all he wants to do is make a regime that would remove what he personally believes is wrong with the universe, but can't help but feel he's doing something gravely wrong that may make him worse than the thing he seeks to destroy.
Or he could just have the castle because he loves pups and kittens... who doesn't?
