I say that because RiffTrax is doing a live riffing on that movie next month (planning to see!), and I thought I saw that weapon on the poster for the showing.

That's the idea. It is based on the Glaive from Krull. I was commissioned to draw a weapon that was like it for an 80s nostalgia article.
