Dodo Birds are a small, flightless bird from the island of Mauritius, a small island east of Madagascar.  These birds measured 1 meter in height, and weighed up to 47 pounds, they are a relative of the pigeons and doves that are alive today, Dodo birds often eat fruits and seeds that grew on the island of Mauritius.  They became extinct due to humans coming onto the island in the year 1598, at first the Dodos didn't see the humans as a threat, then the humans took the opportunity to hunt the Dodos, and introduce invasive species, until they were extinct.  The last recorded Dodo sighting was in the year 1662, then the last Dodo had died, this led to the extinction of the Dodo Bird.  Several years later, our top scientists had successfully brought back the Dodo bird and mankind will realize their mistake here at Prehistoric World.
