Description: The Raccoon, also known as the Common Raccoon or North American Raccoon, is a species of Procyonid mammal that is native to most of North America, this is the largest member of the Procyonid family, the size of these mammals can vary between habitats, they can be mostly found within forests, but they are able to adapt to mountainous, coastal marsh, and urban areas, even to the point where they are considered pests by Humans. These mammals are well known for their distinctive ringed tail, facial mask, and their extremely dexterous front paws, which are able to be used as hands to climb vertical objects and carry small objects, Raccoons are even known for their intelligence, they are able to memorize a solution to a certain task for an estimated 3 years, some can even compare the intelligence of Raccoons to the intelligence of primates. Raccoons are mostly nocturnal, this means they are normally active at night, most people often consider Raccoons as pests, as they are capable of tipping over trash cans and raiding fruit trees, but if a Raccoon decides to make an attic its den, it could cost several thousand dollars in damage repairs, there are good ways to prevent Raccoons from causing a disturbance; loud noises, bad odors, and flashing lights have been known to repel Raccoons, these are the best ways to keep Raccoons away, since relocating or killing Raccoons without a permit is forbidden in many urban areas.

Personal Thoughts: I see Raccoons all the time when I go camping or having a bonfire, they are cute from a distance, but don't get too close to one, especially if its a mother Raccoon with her kits. Its kind of odd that I don't see Raccoons in zoos or sanctuaries very often, you would think that since they are so common it would be good to have them on display, then again they are nocturnal, maybe if they were placed in a Nocturnal House, then they could be on exhibit. Anyways, I like how much this one matches the Raccoons I've seen in real life, also it has no bugs or glitches, the modeling and textures are accurate compared to the real animal, and it fits in perfectly in a North American themed zoo.
