well if you look back at the history of music in the past 100 years. before metal got its start, its real start. all of theese bands would have been considered ( devil music) in their time. now as we progressed and actually got ( heavier) the older stuff like ac/dc and the rolling stones became what we called ( classic rock). but even still, the metal we hear and are so fond of today will become (classic metal) in about 100 years or so and the new era of (metal) will usher in a new breed of listeners and thus a new era of music for its time. of couse this brings about the question now. what is metal? what makes it heavy? why is (devil music) of 50 years ago now cinsidered classic listening matiral where as todays slipknot and all the newer age stuff to much for people who cant handle it? at every point in time in history there was music that people didnt condone as (godly) or (listenable) by a normal (society) standards, but, times are alwasy changing. so this tree really is a representation of all the music at least ot one point in time that bared the term ( devil music) and thus what we will refer to today as ( heavy metal) . any way. i like it. love live metal.

they were heavy metal in their time- if what we considered heavy meatal was played beck then it would be thought of as " devil music"

Like in "The Metal"
You can't kill the metal
The metal will live on
Punk-Rock tried to kill the metal
But they failed, as they were smite to the ground
New-wave tried to kill the metal
But they failed, as they were stricken down to the ground
Grunge tried to kill the metal Ha,hahahahaha
They failed, as they were thrown to the ground
