i love the image. it is a perfect capture of such a dismal place. You give a real feel for the long distance down the tracks. Almost a feeling of relief...of escape.

maybe the feeling you talk about was the same the prisoners of the camp had... somehow, since it was the only entrance, it could also mean it was the only way out...
