Here we have my own take on Loxodons! Genetics as a concept doesn't quite exist in Lambeo's time, but he'd be ecstatic to learn that Elox are in fact genetically identical to 'regular' elephants and mammoths!

On another note, I'm really depressed that mammoths didn't survive long enough into modern times, because it's REALLY hard to come up with a colloquial name that doesn't already derive from 'mammoth'. Can someone go back in time and ask Pleistocene people what they called the big hairy things with long noses and tusks, please??
