People say you can never know
How far things can sink
Until you reach that point
Or rather fall face-first onto it
But everyone and everything does
Eventually
This is a fact
The only variable in this equation is
How long can one hold on?

Do you have the will to see things through?
Do you have the strength to survive the pain?
Do you have the courage to face it all?
No matter how bad it gets?
Do you?

There are times that it will not
Seem that way
When the Darkness is
Closing in around you
And everything is
Beyond your reach
And all you want is
For the pain to end
But never forget
That it is in
The Darkness
That it is easiest to see
The Light

One Friend
One Family Member
One Loved One
They are your Light
Their Faith
In your abilities
Their Hope
For your future
Their Love
Of all that you are
Will be enough to
Pull you from the Pits
Because once you hit bottom
There is nowhere to go but up
Even if you need help
To get there
