The Widow

“I wanted it all, your wealth, your skin, your breath. I bathed you in warm musky water every Sunday morning and clothed you with pristine flowing capes. Your scent along with your cape would trail down the hallway; I always envied that…always envied the hallway.

I gave it all, I prayed and sang and slaughtered. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we waltz around our distorted halls? Ah but no time, no time. You dozed on a Sunday night; I raised an eyebrow and you gasped in silence…….. for the last time.

Waiting for a Sunday…..”

Well I tried to write a story. Keyword: tried, hehe. The other thing I tried to do was to make it non-erotic but I guess phallus-like objects and non-erotic doesn’t go well together.

Painted in Adobe Photoshop/Painter. Alternated between a hard edged airbrush and soft edged ones for most parts, used a textured brush for the trees in Photoshop. Custom made “scratchboard tool ink brush” for most of the highlights on her hair in Painter.

Used multiple references.
