Just as a friendly suggestion, try to concentrate more on the bodies of your characters, and less on the face.

Learning do draw a manga face is like remembering 2 lines of a poem, everyone can do it, because it is simple and cheap, and that is part the appeal of mangas.

However the only way to become better at this if you really do want to improve, is to ditch the premade classical templates of manga poses, and faces, and starts seeing real life people, in their daily actions, and draw them instead.

Once you get good enough, you can switch back to manga if you like, but until you will learn to draw on a style that is !loosely" based off reality, you can never get it right.

Disregard all I said, if this is just for a bit of fun though

I love your help. Right now, I'm just doing art to pass some time before school starts, but I will definately take into consideration everything you have said. You are right, faces are easy and they are my favorite part to draw. I have known for a long time that I need to work on the bodies more. And now I think I've finally found where to start. Thank you so much for your criticism, I will take it to heart.

You are very welcome, and I am only saying this because I used to do the same for most of my teen years, drawing mangas all over the place, but never seemed to improve myself much, even though I really wanted to, and could not see what I was doing wrong, because the only people giving me feedback, were people that did not know much about art, complimented me too much, or simply were quite aggressive in their explanation of things.

You however are doing all of the right things by wanting to improve yourself instead of shutting the door and putting your hands over your ears, I am sure you will become amazing soon enough with more experience.

If you are ever in doubt, feel free to give us a poke for tricks and advices on how to use photoshop. ^^

Thank you for your help. I will probably continue to produce more drawings in my current style for now because I just want to pass some time and have fun, but when school comes around, instead of doodling little anime people on my pages in my free time, I might experiment with the technique you mentioned. Thanks again.
