Future Notes: Reading back on this comic, I gotta say... This is one of the funniest comics I've ever made. Keep in mind, good jokes that originate from me are rarer then I wish they were, so it can be hard to me claim any of my so called 'comedic' pieces actually have value in that sense, but this I really find funny. Whether for a silly joke or a satirical outlook, I love this one. And it needs a visual upgrade. I really need to add some shading to this. Hopefully I will soon.

This took... A disgusting long amount of time. I don't know why this is the case. Maybe it had something to do with me configuring everything to my liking or how I wasn't trying to go quicker then last time, but by the end of it all, I didn't feel like shading or doing any of that. I'm glad I got to put my voice into this unfunny meme, but I just feel burnt out right now. I'm really getting sick of my pedantic tendencies, and I really need to find a way to overcome them. That would've made this a whole lot quicker.
Where was I? Oh yeah, the comic.
So, as you've already read, I don't find this meme funny. Why is that? Well, it's because there's nothing you can really do with the joke besides calling Peridot a Dorito look-a-like. Now, you can say all memes are based on jokes that lead to the same punch line and have a superficial layer of variety, but things like Rage/Troll face can be applied to a variety of situations, and can connect to separate demographs of people depending on what the plot involves. The Peridot meme can't, because it's built for a single set-up.
Now, being a pretty big fan of the CC's corn chips, I was kinda wondering why he (just personifying it because why not) wasn't considered for the comparison, at least with the meme-posts I've seen. It probably has something to do with the MLG culture of the internet and how it influenced our minds to use Doritos as our go to reference. Whatever the reason, Peridot is the involuntary mascot of Doritos according to Tumblr (Or wherever it originated from. Maybe 4Chan?).
I drew this comic as a battle between the two corn chip giants for rights over the gem, but then it became a more darker version of the original idea. Personally, I prefer this version to the old, because the old would've been pandering to her fanbase in the sense of hopefully starting a pseudo war among various social media sites, and I had to take a good look at myself and realise that I'm not that desperate for views. 'laugh track plays'. Hahahahaha-haha-ha-ha-ha-ha...
Anyway, if I get the motivation, I might come back and shade this thing up. For now, enjoy a less polished comic in comparison to the last, but with a better joke to back it up.
