How do you approach this practice? Regarding your thought process when creating specific aspects of each thumbnail. Do you have an idea if your head or just throw down lines and make them work together?
I like these a lot, as well as all of your designs. Blows me away.
Machinery has within the last few years specifically, really peaked my interest. I've always done more organic designs and machinery is proving very challenging for me.

some parts of these machines are imitate the structures and details from a book about star wars...just a practice, not completely design.
when i create specific aspects of machines, i just trow down lines then draw details without consider which part is what.
