The amount that this resembles Isaac Clarke's helmets and armor is astounding.

Looks as though this was the head of a much larger mechanical lifeform, that sustained to much damage. In a last ditch effort, it cobbled together limbs and 'musculature' to save it's own head as a sort of escape pod. Like Gurenn Lagann except not so silly.

Seems a bit odd because of the thin ankles and feet, but it's one of those things I would love to see in action. As always, lovely work on the background, the ground, and the detailing on the subject.

I'd have to say, of all of the mechs and robots that I have seen, this one stands out from the others. I've never seen anything exactly like this one. I love this very much.

your painting style... I see it or something like it all the time, how do you get this effect? like small textures and stuff? When I paint the colors turn into smooth flat colors...

textures were made by brushes which have texture attribute. u can try to find some tutorial videos about how to change the parameters of the brushes in photoshop.
