Well I have a large ammount of them made undead marines on the right (represented by Death Guard) and a 'Lost Spirit' (representing a thousand son) problem is it is a very shooty army which is very resilient.Just like the Zanatorians (Necron Army) and thats the problem so I'm now looking at ways to change them to be a more combat based army.

As for your problem... if you want some more choppy to this army, your best option might be Zerkers the only question would be how to explain them in the context of 'zombie marines'
is ghosts are thousand sons, and normal undead death guard, then perhaps a third type of undead for zerkers (wendigos maybe? marines who's even super human constitution starved to death) Alternate you could break the ultra marine colors and instead paint your zerkers as coming from a choppy chapter like Black Templar, Space wolves or Blood Angels

I seem to recall an article on an old, old issue of Challenge (a gaming magazine) where they actually had rules for The Undead, a renegade Space marine chapter. Not affiliated with Chaos though.
I don't remember the exact fluff text but it's cool to see that you had an idea for undead marines as well.

The Eagles of Kai will cleanse those desecrates suits of power armour and return to the honoured Ultramarines.
Your conversioneering is quite somthing, I did a spot of conversioness my self on the mega modelling day, a damn cool sarge for my new plastic Devs and a cool duel, a little more dynamic posing would have been good, but time was limited.
