Description
Today the final parts arrived for my Scarab Occult terminators so I glued & bluetaced the rest of the squad together.I decided early on to scrap the invisible magic bolts for actual weapons so I’ve brought several of the SM commander’s storm bolter which was the easiest to convert. However rather than trying to remove the awkward mould line on the top detail I got rid of it and was going to replace it with a bolter sight from the tactical box set, but instead I made my own sights using the parts of the interceptor teleporter packs instead.
The Justicar is a simple variant using a thousand son helmet, I was going to add a banner but you would hardly see it behind the large head crest.
My favourite thou is the hammer, I love seeing thunder hammers in Dawn Of War and Space Marine as you really feel the impacts. So I decided to copy the animation when the force commander raises it in the air then brings it down on an enemy from DOW.
Finally there’s the reaper Autocannon which will represent my Psycannons, I got rid of the skull and added a eagles wing to the side to make it less chaos themed, I also swapped a halberd to the left hand.
I’m looking forward to seeing one of my squads charge for the first time as they completely dwarf standard models, just look at their size compared to the black reach marine. The dreadnoughts will be quite big as well so this will be an army of giants!
NOTE: To ask the question many are asking the shoulder pads are from Chapterhouse studios. The Legs are from Micro Art Studios.

These look really awesome man. Love the mishmash of bitz, especially the Thousand Sun's headdress.
The only thing I have to criticize, which isn't your fault (its Micro Art Studio's), is the skinniness on the left marine in the top pic. The stomach/abdomen/hip area is just really..small.
All in all though, these guys look super fantastic!

thats why I plan to make them bigger using pouches and sashes, but after I've painted the white robes.

Fantastic stuff man, the robed legs and those shoulders fit the look amazingly well, as do the Tomb-Kings blades. Where did you get the shoulder plates from?
My only criticism is that the torsos look a little small compared to the larger legs, but sod it, they're Astartes. Who can say how their unarmoured bodies looked.
I'm looking forward to seeing these painted.

I really love the top picture middle character, looks like a Chaos Sorcerer or one of the heads for the rubric marines. God I love those guys.

If i remember right, only Emperor's children could wear any aquilla simbols like wing on an autocannon.

Not they were the only ones allowed to wear the aquilla on their armour, dunno about the weapons.

but it is pre heracy so this is before the marines turned full blown evil and they were still loyal to the emperor

Actually, Pre-Heresy, the aquilla was strictly limited to the Emperor's Children. Post-Heresy, all loyalist marines were allowed to sport it.

i think the wing on the autocannon is fine. it's not a full aquilla, and other legions also had wing motifs as part of their heraldry
