General Notice:Hey guys, how's it going - good I hope?
It's been a while, and considering I've had many people asking where I went/whether I've left, my answer is that I haven't. <3 I'm sorry for disappearing, to cut a long story short I've been very ill and busy! But I'm feeling better now, and should be back soon.
I've laid down sketched plans to finish off the kirbian prizes, last bits of commissions, the team artwork and will then concentrate on treating my OCs to proper references and unique pictures.
Picture Description:
This is a preview of Velocity's new design, and therefore is a work in progress (WIP) so it's a bit rough, but you should get the general idea.

It's pretty much the only piece of artwork I've done while being on my basically 4 month hiatus. I like this outfit better than her previous one, and she's a lot simpler to draw this way.
A couple of people wished to draw her, so here you go! Hopefully I'll complete and upload the rest of the reference soon, but this is a bit of a sample for you guys.

Her outfit kinda looks like a mix of an arabian outfit (Like Shahra from sonic and the secret rings)

Yes, I got that kind of feel as well. <3 I wanted to make her outfit fairly loose so she can run more easily, and the metallic 'bangles' are used to allow her to skid more effectively so she doesn't get her knees bashed in. :3
Her shoes are actually heelies which will be shown in the final reference - but the unusual design of them allow her to travel faster on railings and have more stability than regular shoes do.

I'm really glad you like it, I fell in love with it so decided to use this one. <3
Though, it's always possible to have her older outfit used for 'future Velocity' if necessary as she does look older in it than she does here. ^^
And she will be still keeping the G.U.N. outfit Voxtum designed for me.

Yes I agree, I think that's a good thing in a way as she's not intended to be a character that looks in her twenties, more so in her mid-to-late teenage years. (:
Her outfit is more practical for a speed character, and is a lot simpler to remember/draw. ^^
