Finally catching up on the past few weeks!
I've been entirely too lazy to edit my photos lately, I've just had an aversion to photoshop since I'm usually using my computer screen for other things, and photoshop isn't really set up to share the screen very well... Also been neglecting the blog, but there's a new one up over there too! It's here: [link] I meant to take my camera to the lake house, but we had several things to grab on the way out, so somehow the camera that was in my hand didn't make it into my bag or into the car... So I had to settle for a shot once we got home late at night... It worked out though, I really like this one

There is a lot going on here if one takes time to examine the composition. I love the way there are layers of things to see. And the lines interact with each other: for example, the way the glass lamp base curve echos the female form. The wedding ring being clearly visible hints at a possible story unfolding here.
BTW, so,e aspects of this remind me of what I was trying to do with my painting titled "Open Secret". But the lighting and colors here are even better. I may have to repaint that painting someday.

lol... my weight has actually stayed the same for about 2 years now... But I am more fit now thanks to going to the gym, I guess that makes me look thinner

thanks so much! I had to play around with the lights to make sure the table lamp wouldn't overpower everything (you can kinda see where it won on the bottom part of my legs...)
