Warning: Today is a photodump day I've got a lot of shots (some from quite a while back) that I'm getting around to finally posting today

My friend tried to show me some waterfall/river while we were in Virginia... But we kinda discovered it was way more than the '1500 feet to observation area' until you actually got down to the river (unless you wanted to take a really steep tumble straight down), and way farther than that to the waterfall/levy/I'm not really sure what it was because we never made it that far The parking lot is just at the top of this pathway where it's cropped, this is where the pavement ends and it's pretty much a dirt trail from there... So since I was in a skirt and my friend was in heels, we decided it was probably best to turn around while we were ahead... after all, it was a downhill walk in, but an uphill walk out and we're both lazy!
